Production Operative
Permanent Full-time £32,900 (Inclusive of shift allowance) Nottingham/Derby (On-site)
This role plays an important part in maintaining production standards, contributing to continuous improvement activities and supporting day-to-day factory operations across a rotating 3 shift pattern (mornings + afternoons + nights).
Shift Pattern & Pay:
- Rotating 3-shift pattern: 05:45–14:00 | 13:45–21:30 | 20:45–06:00
- Total Salary: £32,900 (£25,550 basic + 28.83% shift premium)
Responsibilities:
- Follow all site safety rules, policies, and legal requirements (including COSHH and Health & Safety at Work Act).
- Maintain compliance with BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14001 and BS EN 9100 standards.
- Operate production equipment efficiently while reducing waste and cost.
- Support ongoing improvements to products, processes, and procedures.
- Maintain excellent levels of cleanliness, orderliness, and equipment care.
- Assist with general factory duties across the site & contribute to site security as required.
- Participate in all training provided by the company.
- Support Team Leaders and colleagues to ensure smooth shift operations.

- Experience working within a production or manufacturing environment (ideal but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Basic numeracy & computer literacy skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team and independently once trained.
