The Role
We’re looking for dedicated and hands-on individuals to join us as Production Operatives at our Young’s Seafood facility in Fraserburgh. This is your opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s leading seafood producers—where passion for food, teamwork, and quality drive everything we do.
Whether working with fresh salmon in our high-care area or preparing delicious deli products, you’ll help ensure our premium seafood reaches supermarket shelves across the UK. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to grow within a fast-moving, values-driven business that puts people first.
Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm
Pay: £12.90 per hour
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Production Operative, you will:
- Operate and monitor production machinery to maintain quality and efficiency
- Follow standardised recipes and schedules to meet daily output targets
- Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with food safety and product standards
- Support your team in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues to reduce downtime
- Uphold all health and safety protocols

The Ideal Candidate
You Don’t Need Previous Experience In Food Production—just a Great Work Ethic And Willingness To Learn. We’re Looking For Individuals Who Are
- Practical and detail-oriented, with a focus on quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Team players with strong communication skills
- Able to follow instructions accurately
- Flexible and keen to grow within the role
- Mechanically minded (an advantage, not a must)
