Production Operative, Cellpath, Newtown

Location: Newtown, Powys

About The Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Production Operatives to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing high-quality products, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacture, assembly, inspection, and packing of products, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operating production machinery and equipment.
  • Assembling, inspecting, and packing products.
  • Conducting quality checks and basic testing.
  • Following production procedures and work instructions.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
  • Working collaboratively to achieve production targets.
  • Reporting machinery faults or quality concerns to supervisors.

What We're Looking For (Person Specification)

  • Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and work safely to meet production targets.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
