Production Operative (Fixed Term)
Fixed-Term Opportunity – Assembly & Packaging Operator
Role Overview A fixed-term, 3-month opportunity with the potential for extension. Competitive pay scales above the minimum wage, with additional benefits including:

Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual and inspection tasks, becoming proficient in all assembly and packaging operations.
- Ensure complete operational flexibility while meeting production and quality targets.
- Follow written and verbal work instructions rigorously.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and quality standards.
The role includes:
- Assembling and packaging products to specifications, with inspections at key production stages.
- Meeting production, efficiency, and quality benchmarks.
- Completing all production records and performance indicators.
- Maintaining high housekeeping and waste management standards.
- Contributing to process improvements (safety, quality, cost efficiency, and production).
- Supporting other tasks deemed necessary by the Shift Manager to meet business needs.

Experience Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience working in roles requiring adherence to quality and output targets.
- Ability to follow strict work and quality instructions.
Desirable (Not Mandatory)
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environments.
Qualifications and Attributes
Essential
- General secondary or vocational qualifications (e.g., GCSEs or equivalent, BTEC Certificate).

Working Schedule
Currently recruiting for the dayshift (06:00–14:00, Monday–Friday) with mandatory paid breaks.
Shift and shift rotation breakdown: (If required for new hires orally) Single-shift: Dayshift – Standard hours as noted. Split shift: Dayshift (AM + PM) or (PM + further block hours as detailed). Three-shifts: Include day, twilight and day; night shift (22:00–06:00 Sundays-Thursdays); and late shifts (as applicable).
Note: Shift allowances apply (10% for PM shifts on a two-shift rotation and 20% for nightshifts).
