We are currently looking for a Paint Technician who takes pride in their work ensuring paints are mixed correctly and customers receive the correct order and receive the outstanding service that Elmbridge pride ourselves on delivering.
Overview of the role
Work within our operations facility alongside other Paint Technicians to complete customer orders quickly and to a high-quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Mix paints for industrial coatings, ensuring all formulations of preparation and colour matching are to the highest standard and meet customer requirements
- Ensure colour recipes, libraries and samples are updated and maintained
- Fill aerosol cans for despatch to customers
- Help plan, organise, coordinate and control the dispatch of finished goods
- Ensure stock control of colourants and special pigments is completed
- Maintain a clean and tidy mixing and laboratory area including tools, equipment, and machinery in line with the 5S principles.
- Conduct spraying out and testing of coated samples for presentation to customers

Key Requirements
- Previous experience in spraying or handling coatings
- Attention to detail in order to colour match the paints correctly
- The ability to work alone or as part of a team
- The ability to maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a manufacturing business using 5S principles is advantageous but not essential
