Join Our Mix Room PM Shift as a Production Operative!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join our Mix Room PM Shift. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role at the heart of our pastry production, perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, and producing high-quality food products.

Hours of Work:
14:00–00:30 (with 2 x 30-minute unpaid breaks), Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

Hourly Rate:
£13.21 per hour

Enhanced Rate:
£16.51 per hour for hours worked between 20:00–06:00 or hours over 37.5 per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Setup
    Set up scales and mixers at the start of each shift to ensure production can begin smoothly.

  • Ingredient Preparation
    Decant and prepare ingredients for Mix Prep and Production Line teams.
    Weigh out ingredients precisely following bespoke recipes.

  • Product Safety & Traceability
    Record batch numbers and maintain full traceability of all raw ingredients and completed mixes.

  • Production Support
    Keep production lines well-supplied throughout your shift.
    Operate mixers to ensure every mix is perfectly blended.
    Prepare glaze for pastry products, ensuring consistency and quality.
