We are recruiting Production Operatives to join our team based in Oldham, with roles available in our Production shifts working a rotating pattern covering:
- 6am–2pm
- 2pm–10pm
- 10pm–6am
About the Role
As a Production Operative, you'll be responsible for running high-speed machinery safely, efficiently, and effectively. This includes:
- Performing quality and safety checks
- Troubleshooting issues
- Making necessary adjustments

Duties & Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring machinery to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently
- Conducting regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards
- Undertaking routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery
- Assisting with loading and unloading of materials
- Adhering to quality, health, and safety procedures and regulations
- Keeping accurate records of production output and downtime while helping teams reach targets
- Carrying out pre-use machinery checks and identifying any issues or faults

Requirements
Essential
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to high standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Ability to adhere to health, safety, and quality standards
- Excellent attendance and timekeeping
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shift patterns
Desirable
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or as a machine operator, particularly in FMCG environments
- Experience in roles such as Factory Operative, Skilled Operative, Machine Operator, Production Operative, or Manufacturing Operative
