Production Operative
Location: Kilmarnock, KA2
Salary: £26,436.80 per annum
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (Week 1) and Sunday to Thursday (Week 2) 7am–4pm / Day shifts
Braehead Foods, part of Reynolds Food Group, is seeking an experienced Production Operative to join their team in Kilmarnock. This opportunity allows you to become part of a fast-paced fine foods business, ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately, efficiently and to high standards.
About the Role
A role within the Production Department, where precision, hygiene and teamwork are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the pace and performance standards within Production
- Prepare customer orders accurately per production schedules
- Help minimise waste while maximising productivity and product availability
- Adhere to Company stock rotation procedures
- Comply with Production Department policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with:
- Health & Safety standards
- HACCP protocols (Company policy & legal guidelines)
- Follow the "Clean as you go" policy for housekeeping excellence
- Perform manual handling and production duties as required

Skills & Experience Required
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate:
- Experience in production or food preparation environments
- Food Hygiene Certificate (or relevant fresh/frozen produce handling experience)
- Familiarity with Braehead Foods’ product range
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Team-driven, adaptable attitude with a positive mindset
- Manual handling experience
