# Production Operative – Uncured and Curing Areas
We are seeking a Production Operative to maintain smooth, efficient production processes in our uncured and curing areas, adhering strictly to quality and safety standards while fostering a collaborative team environment.
About the Role
This role is critical in ensuring production meets high standards while supporting a positive workplace culture. If you thrive in a structured environment where attention to detail and safety are paramount, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Adhere to company policies, including Health & Safety and Food Safety
- Report Health & Safety or quality concerns to your Line Leader
- Participate in mandatory company training programs
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Wear appropriate PPE and follow hygiene requirements
- Ensure products meet quality specifications
- Report any out-of-specification products or materials to your supervisor/QA
- Oversee the curing process of meat products, including:
- Adding salts or curing agents to remove moisture and infuse flavour
- Implementing methods such as dry curing, injection curing, or brine curing solutions
- Work in a shift pattern (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Remuneration & Compensation
Earn Big:
- Competitive hourly rate with potential to earn over £530/week
- Balanced schedule gives you extra time for personal commitments
Qualifications & Attributes
- Preferred: Level 2 Food Safety Certification
- Strong team player with attention to detail
- Safety-conscious and proactive mindset
- Effective communicator
- Positive approach to quality improvement
- Previous production line experience (advantageous, but not essential)
