Production Operatives – Full-Time Role
Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire

About the Role
As a Production Operative, you will assist the Machine Minder in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery while producing premium-quality cartons. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating production machinery and ensuring efficient workflow
- Feeding machines and packing finished products
- Maintaining high cleanliness standards in production areas
- Conducting quality checks on cartons through various procedures
- Completing necessary paperwork and reports for Minders
- Maintaining a strong attention to detail to meet customer expectations

Hours of Work
This is a full-time role (38 hours per week, 5 days a week):
First Shift:
- Monday–Thursday: 06:00 – 14:00
- Friday: 06:00 – 12:00
Second Shift:
- Monday–Thursday: 14:00 – 22:00
- Friday: 12:00 – 18:00
(Moving between shifts in a two-week rotation.)
Requirements
To excel in this role, we’re looking for:
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- A strong sense of enthusiasm and determination
- A polite, friendly, and positive attitude
- Ability to work to pre-set standards with sound judgment
- A keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn
- Previous production experience is preferred (not essential)
