About us:

Part of the Autocraft Solutions Group, Autocraft Drivetrain Solutions is Europe's largest independent engine remanufacturer and assembler, supplying OE manufacturers such as Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, Aston Martin, PSA, JCB and many more.

We are also a technology leader in Electric Vehicle (EV) battery assembly and remanufacturing solutions, component machining and engineering services. Sustainability is at the core of everything we do!

The Role:

We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in a similar environment to join our stores / warehouse team; working within a small, but busy team, you will be responsible for general storehouse functionalities and providing material support to the production lines.

As a Storekeeper (also known internally as Production Operative), there will be times when you may be required to move around production and work in other areas of the factory.

Working hours are (day shift): Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30, and Friday 08:00-13:30 (37.5 working hours per week).

Closing date for applicants: Sunday 12th July 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily use of the Logistic Information System (EFACS)
  • Ensure all stock is issued correctly once picked
  • Ensure relocated stock is changed on EFACS
  • Report low stock quantity on high use items to Cell Leader
  • Report all inability to issue
  • Ensure all stock is clearly labelled and correctly packaged
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles (FLT operators only)
  • Moving stock and banding pallets
  • Assisting with annual stock-take

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a stores / warehouse worker or similar role (desired, but not essential, as full training is provided)
  • Good understanding of how production equipment works
  • FLT licence (Desirable, not Essential)
  • Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work both days (hours stated above) and late shifts when required (Monday to Wednesday 16:15-02:15, and Thursday 16:15-01:45)
