Job Title: Production Operative (Known Internally as a Bread Plant Operative)

Shifts: Sunday to Tuesday (36 hours/week) Times: 6am–6pm or 7:30am–7:30pm

About the Role: Operate bakery equipment and systems while performing first-line maintenance. Focus on maintaining smooth production, ensuring product quality, and meeting key performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively as a team to keep the production line operational
  • Ensure products are made safely and to quality standards
  • Monitor equipment and raw materials during shifts
  • Use simple record-keeping systems to report essential data
  • Maintain a clean, organised workspace
  • Assist in resolving small-scale issues or escalating faults promptly

What We’re Looking For

✔ Preferred (but not essential): Previous experience in factories, warehouses, or food environments ✔ Basic proficiency in maths, reading, and IT ✔ Reliable team player, adaptable, and capable of following instructions ✔ Attention to detail and commitment to continuous learning
