Production Operative
Production Operative & FLT Driver Cover
Join our team at DS Smith Wirral and play a key role in delivering high-quality production! We're looking for a motivated Production Operative to support our manufacturing operations. You'll help ensure smooth production processes, maintain safety standards, and achieve performance targets.
Main Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for your own and others' health & safety, following SSOW (Safe System of Work) and company procedures.
- Immediately report any unsafe acts or incidents to management.
- Meet productivity and quality targets consistently.
- Carry out daily warehouse and production activities.
- During holidays and buys periods assist in loading and unloading vehicles, feeding machinery with material whilst liaising with the office.

- Minimum requirements
- Safet First mindset
- Self-Motivated, positive, and enthusiastic.
- Strong Communications Skills (Verbal and written).
- Team player with a quality-focused approach.
- Flexible and open to multi-skilled working and constructive challenge.

- Preferred experience
- Background in corrugated board manufacturing (ideal but not essential).
- Previous experience in production machine and FLT operations.
- Basic Maths skills for inventory tasks.
- Counterbalance licence.
