Energas is currently looking for dedicated and safety-conscious Production Operative to join our filling team in Grimsby.
In this role, you will be at the heart of our production facility, ensuring our filling plant operates seamlessly and safely.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Cylinder Filling: Safely filling gas cylinders in strict accordance with the Company’s Codes of Practice and our BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management
- Sorting & Recording: Correctly sorting cylinders by size and color code, separating rejected items, and accurately counting and recording finished and rejected cylinders.
- Operating & Monitoring: Starting machinery by engaging controls and closely monitoring the filling plant to proactively spot and resolve issues.
- Logistics & Stock Control: Stocking and storing filled cylinders according to company procedures, as well as assisting with the safe loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
- Customer & Team Support: Serving customers with cylinders when required and maintaining the facility's exceptionally high levels of housekeeping.

We are searching for a hardworking individual with strong communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment. We also look for:
- Any experience in a production environment is advantageous but not essential
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy
- Good communication skills
- Fork lift truck licence is an advantage but not essential
