How the role will make an impact:
The Production Operative based at our Henlow site, will be able to impart knowledge and aid development, customer-orientated whilst understanding the company needs.
Hours: 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am on a 2-week rotation.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- To manufacture weather seals in a safe manner.
- Replacement of raw materials to ensure continuous production
- Quality control checks on profiles
- Achieve the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Targets (OEE, Scrap, OTIF, Quality Standards, Throughput, and Productivity).
- Ensure informative handover is effectively communicated to the succeeding operator, any points of note written, signed, and dated; in handover book.
Key Skills:
- Previous exposure to a manufacturing environment.
- Lean Tools and Techniques
- SAP experience
- Good experience with Microsoft Office
