Production Operative - Humberstone Road Factory
Summary Join our busy Humberstone Road Factory and play a key role in production efficiency. Sofina Foods is hiring dedicated and motivated Production Operatives to ensure smooth operations and high standards of safety and quality in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Please note, there is a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern (6am - 6pm). Those seeking a dynamic, team-focused opportunity where they can contribute to high-quality food production should apply.
We are offering £13.13 per hour for this role.
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will work as part of a team to maintain seamless production line operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high standards of hygiene. This exciting role provides both training and the chance to grow within a global leader in meat and seafood.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate within a production team to minimise downtime and ensure efficient production flow
- Handle and prepare frozen fish and ingredients, maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards
- Perform essential production tasks, including:
- Line feeding
- Weighing
- Mixing
- Decanting ingredients
- Package both fresh and frozen products, ensuring compliance with specified standards
- Manage product logistics, including stacking and palletising boxes
- Strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Product Specifications
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ensuring excellence in safety, hygiene, and quality
