Role Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join Nidec Drives as a Production Operator for our Unit 79 Factory, in Newtown.

As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in delivering day-to-day operational objectives. You will work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking ownership of individual responsibilities to support overall performance and productivity.
Key Job Responsibilities/Requirements
The responsibilities of the Production Operator consist of but are not limited to:
Organisational Impact
- Contribute to the achievement of team objectives through effective completion of daily tasks
- Undertake a mix of routine and occasionally non-routine activities
- Work independently with moderate supervision
- Apply judgement within established operational procedures and guidelines
Communication & Influence
- Communicate effectively with team members to exchange important information
- Explain processes, practices, and policies to support understanding and alignment
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues and reach agreement
Innovation & Problem Solving
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and team effectiveness
- Make minor adjustments to systems or workflows to resolve issues
- Analyse routine challenges and propose solutions for review
Leadership & Team Contribution
- Provide guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to colleagues where required
- Support a positive and productive team environment

Knowledge & Experience
- Broad understanding of operational systems and manufacturing practices
- Typically gained through relevant work experience or education
- Vocational or technical qualifications may be advantageous
Employees must be able to:
- Understand emergency instruction
- Read safety signage and hazard warnings
- Communicate effectively in specific situations (e.g. fire evacuation)
