Job Description

About the Role

The Production Operator plays a key role in operating machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility to ensure the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of our materials. This role supports daily operational goals, maintains safety and quality standards, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • This position is a full-time, on-site role based at our Cramlington facility.
  • Safely set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery and production lines in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Maintain accurate production records, logs, and material tracking within internal inventory and reporting systems.
  • Adhere strictly to all site Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and operational standards.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with machinery operation and manual material handling.

Skills you need to succeed:

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong attention to detail with basic technical and problem-solving abilities.
