Shift Pattern

  • Shift 1: 6.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday
  • Shift 2: 2.00pm to 10.00pm Monday to Thursday, 2.00pm to 6.00pm on a Friday
  • Shift 3: 10.00pm to 6.00am Sunday to Thursday

About The Role

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hands-on Production Operator to join our established team within the masterbatch and plastics additives sector.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to producing high-quality products.

You’ll be operating production machinery, supporting blending and extrusion processes, and ensuring all materials meet strict quality standards.

Full training will be provided, with a clear pathway to achieving the post probation hourly rate of £14.45.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate manufacturing machinery for masterbatch production
  • Prepare raw materials, weigh ingredients, and follow production formulas
  • Monitor production lines and carry out routine checks
  • Complete batch records and maintain accurate documentation
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and report any issues
  • Support quality control procedures, including sampling and visual checks
  • Adhere to all health & safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets

About You

  • Previous experience in plastics, masterbatch, extrusion, or manufacturing preferred (but training can be provided)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Comfortable working in a physically active role (manual handling required)
  • Ability to follow instructions, production schedules, and safety guidelines
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
  • Willing to work shifts
