Job Description
Location: Brett Martin Ltd, 24 Roughfort Road

As a Production Operator, You Will
- Operate within a structured 12-hour shift pattern, rotating between days and nights, including weekends.
- Work an average of 40.25 or 46 hours per week, depending on your assigned shift pattern.
- Benefit from a competitive average hourly rate of £14.88 - £16.69 (inclusive of shift premium, basic hourly rate £12.71).
- Earn a potential annual salary of up to £35,584.99, inclusive of shift premium.
About The Role
Main purpose: To carry out required duties on production lines including ancillary machinery and to ensure that finished products are of the required standard.

- Quality control and inspection of finished products;
- Packaging of finished products ensuring they meet required quality standards;
- Assisting with machinery as required;
- Ability to work with warm water (personal protective equipment supplied if required);
- Maintain work area to required standard;
- Deal with non-conforming materials, processes and products in accordance with Company procedures;
- Participate in training and improvement activities and to train others as required;
- Be willing and capable to learn new and established processes and procedures within given time-scales as required by the Production Manager;
- Ensure that all output and product output sheets are completed on their shift and that any problems relating to scrap or downtime are clearly documented.

Required Criteria
- Basic numeracy skills
- Ability to work in a busy manufacturing environment
- A good level of English both written and verbal
- Can work 12 hour shifts, including weekends
Desired Criteria
- GCSE English and Maths (Or Equivalent)
- Have a FLT License
- Basic IT literacy
- Recent experience working within a manufacturing environment
