Production Operator
PPG | Shildon
Full Time | Permenant
Purpose
To support the manufacturing of PPG coatings by ensuring all products, materials, and goods are produced to the highest quality standards while maintaining efficiency and operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities
To manufacture products to the highest quality, adhering to PPG processes To advise on any of the quality issues or shortages of materials to the Production Manager/Shift Managers. To assist to continually improve on all procedures in the Work areas. Clean and maintain all equipment in the line with 5s requirement as part of the working day. To help maintain daily audit data as per requirements. Adhere to and manage the health and safety guidelines as determined by the Health and Safety Policy and the finding of any subsequent risk assessments Promote best health and safety within the team. Carry out such additional duties as may reasonably be required by Production Manager/ Shift managers.
Requirements
Ability to process manage Lean principles. Good communication skills and ability to work within a fast paced, high achieving team. Good organisational skills.
