PRODUCTION OPERATOR
AliveDx is recruiting for a Production Operator to join our Buffer & Reagent team based near Penicuik (EH26 OBF). This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours Monday–Friday.
As a Production Operator in the Buffer & Reagent team, you will play a key role in manufacturing high-quality diagnostic products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). You will work as part of a collaborative operational support team to ensure products are prepared safely, accurately, and manufactured to schedule.
YOUR MISSION
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing buffer and reagent products to agreed specifications.
- Manufacturing products in line with GMP, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and TROPOS requirements.
- Preparing and delivering intermediate buffer solutions to Manufacturing departments.
- Performing filtration and filling of buffers within a clean room environment.
- Filling, labelling, and packing reagent products to specification.
- Completing manufacturing documentation accurately and maintaining electronic records within TROPOS.
- Performing accurate mathematical calculations and maintaining stock control.
- Maintaining equipment and work areas to GMP and Health & Safety standards.
- Ensuring compliance with COSHH requirements and risk assessments.
- Supporting continuous support and participating in departmental training.

YOUR COMPETENCIES
- Maintaining equipment and work areas to GMP and Health & Safety standards.
- Ensuring compliance with COSHH requirements and risk assessments.
- A good standard of English and Mathematics.
- Strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work accurately while following detailed procedures.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- A team-focused approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
