We are currently looking for reliable Production Operators for our nightshift operations. In this role, you will be critical in ensuring our production processes run smoothly during nighttime hours. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us deliver top-notch potato products to our customers. Working hours are from 8 PM to 4 AM, Sunday to Thursday, with a competitive pay rate starting at £12.71 per hour, plus additional pay for night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and monitor operations to ensure efficient processing of potato products throughout the night
- Strictly adhere to safety and quality standards to create a safe and productive work environment
- Inspect and verify the quality of products before packaging to ensure they meet company specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment to ensure operational efficiency
- Accurately document production metrics and promptly report any issues to the shift supervisor
- Work collaboratively with team members to facilitate a smooth workflow and address any challenges that arise
- Engage in training and development opportunities to continuously improve skills relevant to production operations

Requirements
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred, particularly in the food industry
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and compliance with safety standards
- Effective communication skills for collaborative teamwork
- Basic mechanical aptitude for performing maintenance tasks on production equipment
- Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to changing production needs
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict safety protocols
- Willingness to learn and embrace new processes and technologies relevant to the production field
