About the job
Arla Foods Stourton Dairy are looking for a proficient Production Operative to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis where you will play an integral part in the production of our fantastic dairy products.
As a Production Operative
- You will be working a full-time, 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (2 days and 2 nights)
- You will have responsibility for the daily operation of container filling and labelling machinery, producing a range of our top quality dairy products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- The daily operation of container filling/labelling machinery safely and efficiently to produce top-quality products.
- Reporting and correcting any safety issues whilst maintaining proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings.
- Performing quality inspections on materials and finished product which will include codes, seals, and weights.
- Being responsible for proper and accurate product/package/code changes.
- Performing all filling/labelling operator CIP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning for all other areas in accordance with specified cleaning schedules.
- Performing simple preventative maintenance, i.e. clean, inspect, lubricate, and tighten and monitor equipment and process performance and correct/raise issues before they become a problem.

Who are you?
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an FMCG or related company.
- Good communication skills with the ability to understand instructions.
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable to demonstrate basic level of vocational learning ability.
- Experience of SAP process order management and automated data collection systems i.e. SCADA, OEE, SPC.
