Do you want to make a difference with the work you do? Join us as a Production Order Planner. The Production Order Planner role is a key part of the operations team, responsible for planning and coordinating production activities to ensure smooth and efficient delivery. You will align materials, capacity, and priorities to meet customer demand and operational targets. Working closely with production, supply chain, and other business functions, you will maintain an accurate and achievable production plan, manage competing priorities, and ensure clear communication across teams. This role reports into the Planning Manager and plays an important part in delivering consistent performance against operational metrics. You will take ownership of planning activities, maintain high levels of data accuracy across systems, and proactively identify and resolve risks to delivery. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will challenge existing processes and contribute to improving overall planning performance and efficiency. What are my responsibilities?

Own the timely creation of requisitions and placement of orders to support Commercial Spares and Project delivery Drive effective planning and prioritisation to meet customer demand and project timelines Lead capacity planning activities, ensuring alignment to delivery requirements Maintain accurate and reliable planning data across SAP, ERP, and Excel systems Communicate clear plans, priorities, and risks across commercial, project, and operational teams Proactively identify planning risks and resolve issues with pace and accountability Challenge existing ways of working and drive continuous improvement in planning performance and efficiency
Qualifications & Experience Essential
Strong analytical capability with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail Proven experience in planning within manufacturing or project environments SAP / ERP and Excel proficiency Confident communicator, able to influence across cross-functional teams Self-driven, takes ownership, and delivers with minimal supervision Willing and able to challenge constructively to improve outcomes
