Location – Shepshed Composites

Responsibilities

Prepare and clean surfaces using:
- Vapour blasters
- Orbital sanders
- Manual sanding techniques

Mask components for paint application using:
- Masking tapes
- Masking paper

Mix paint by volume and viscosity, following:
- Approved documentation
- Specific specifications

Maintain spray equipment and operate spray guns by:
- Setting/adjusting to required settings
- Ensuring clean and functional condition

Apply paint using:
- Brush techniques
- Spray painting methods
- Process documentation and specifications

Perform other production duties in line with business needs
Requirements
Education & Experience
- A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent (through education/on-the-job experience).
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in a related field.
Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to read instructions effectively.
- Problem-solving skills using existing procedures for routine tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic proficient computer skills.

Certifications
- Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in painting and finishing are preferred.
