Location – Shepshed Composites

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and clean surfaces using:

    • Vapour blasters
    • Orbital sanders
    • Manual sanding techniques
  • Mask components for paint application using:

    • Masking tapes
    • Masking paper
  • Mix paint by volume and viscosity, following:

    • Approved documentation
    • Specific specifications
  • Maintain spray equipment and operate spray guns by:

    • Setting/adjusting to required settings
    • Ensuring clean and functional condition
  • Apply paint using:

    • Brush techniques
    • Spray painting methods
    • Process documentation and specifications
  • Perform other production duties in line with business needs


Requirements

Education & Experience

  • A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent (through education/on-the-job experience).
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in a related field.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Ability to read instructions effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills using existing procedures for routine tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Basic proficient computer skills.

Certifications

  • Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in painting and finishing are preferred.
