Production Planner | Contract | Berkshire | DV Cleared
We are looking for three experienced Production Planners to support a long term programme within a highly secure environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with production planning experience gained in manufacturing or precision engineering. The hiring team is looking for one candidate with an engineering background and two candidates with manufacturing or materials planning experience.
Location: Berkshire
Contract: Until December 2027
Working pattern: Full time, onsite
IR35: Inside IR35
Security Clearance: Active DV clearance is essential

What you'll be doing:
- Maintain and support the Master Production Schedule
- Produce detailed manufacturing plans with a focus on time, cost, and quality
- Update and manage MRP and ERP planning systems
- Coordinate production demand across operational teams
- Monitor production performance and KPIs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Planning and Production Control techniques
- Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers, and operational stakeholders to resolve planning issues

- Proven production planning experience within manufacturing, precision engineering, or similar environments
- Engineering, manufacturing, or materials planning background
- Strong understanding of machining processes, manufacturing routes, and shop floor operations
- Experience managing production schedules, material availability, and supplier deliveries
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is desirable
