Role Description

The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating and maintaining accurate production schedules to meet customer demand and internal capacity. This full-time, on-site role based in Kingston Upon Hull involves planning and prioritizing work orders, monitoring material availability, and aligning production activities with delivery commitments. The role includes analyzing data to identify bottlenecks, optimizing workflow, and collaborating closely with operations, purchasing, and quality teams to resolve issues. The Production Planner updates systems and reports, communicates schedule changes to stakeholders, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and on-time performance.

  • Candidates should possess skills in managing Production Schedules to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
  • Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environments, ideally within aerospace, defense, or related industries.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and relevant production planning tools or spreadsheets.
