Purpose The Production Planner works in the Planning team along with procurement and manufacturing, executing planning activities in line with defined lean inventory, production and procurement strategies for materials. The Planning Team focuses on managing capacity planning and scheduling for production and / or purchased materials. Context This role supports coordination between procurement, production, and inventory control. The organisation aims to implement lean principles to optimise inventory levels, reduce waste, and align material availability with production demands. The Production Planner ensures that materials are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and supports overall operational efficiency through effective planning and scheduling.
