AirX Jet Support is a UK CAA and EASA approved Maintenance Repair Organisation with approval to provide Line & Base Maintenance services on our parent company fleet of CL-600, EMB-135 and ERJ-190 series aircraft. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are recruiting for a Production Planning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with experience working in a Part-145 aircraft maintenance planning environment. The Production Planning Engineer will support the Technical Services Manager with all aspects of Production Planning and play a key part in the day to day running of the Production Planning Department. In doing so they will be the point of contact for any Production Planning issues during execution and preparation for customer maintenance inputs. This role is based at the London Stansted Diamond Hangar facility working a rotational 5-5-4 day shift pattern. A degree of flexibility is expected including a requirement to work overtime if required. Responsibilities and Duties To generate and issue comprehensive maintenance packages in accordance with the relevant regulatory airworthiness requirements and department procedures. Perform reviews of work packages to ensure all consumables expendables and tooling have been fully identified and can be made readily available for any planned maintenance input. Coordinate pre-input meetings with other internal departments to ensure the smooth transition of each maintenance input. Review and interpret OEM manuals, technical drawings and service bulletins to provide clear guidance to maintenance teams. Take ownership of department objectives and goals. Work closely with the Technical Services Manager in creating cross team dynamics and ensure all processes and procedures are monitored and kept up to date. On receipt of completed cards, review for any omissions and progressively update company internal systems to reflect work card status. Adopt and promote the company Safety, Quality and FOD culture. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company processes and procedures. Promote a just culture and report all incidents and occurrences in the IQSMS portal. Actively support, promote and contribute to continuous improvement ideas and lean principles.

Required Qualifications & Experience Be able to work unsupervised but also be a team player who will grasp opportunities to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers. Have at least 3 years’ experience of working in an aircraft maintenance planning environment. Strong technical knowledge of Bombardier, Embraer or similar aircraft types. Must have excellent organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure. Good understanding of Health and Safety, Human Factors and Regulatory requirements. Flexible worker who is prepared to adjust working hours to meet operational demands. Experience in MRO IT software, such as AMOS, OASES, Rusada etc would be an advantage. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and the ability to learn in-house systems.

Additional Requirements Candidates must have legal authorisation and the right to work in the UK. Full clean UK driving licence. Ability to obtain security clearance and hold an airside ID pass.
