Who Are We?

We own and manage our entire supply chain—from farms to factory, and all the way to the customer door. This gives us a broad range of career opportunities across various functions.

- Major processing sites across England and Wales
- An agricultural network of over 350 farms, spanning from North Yorkshire to the South Coast and Wales
A Little About Our Wednesbury Site
Our advanced manufacturing site in Wednesbury, West Midlands, opened after a £4.7 million investment, creating state-of-the-art facilities.
This site is our flagship Added Value Centre for Avara Foods, employing over 150 talented individuals. They play a critical role in supplying some of the UK’s largest supermarkets and most popular restaurants.

As a Process Leader, you’ll help manage production processes and staff to meet Safety, Quality, Training, Productivity, and Cost targets—consistently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive production line performance to meet customer needs, quality standards, and safety targets for Avara Foods.
- Organise and motivate production staff to ensure they reach their full potential, with an efficiently staffed operation.
- Train and develop staff, ensuring proper documentation and competency.
- Maintain quality standards, guaranteeing consistent product excellence.
- Continuously improve production processes, implementing new initiatives with enthusiasm.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), reporting daily performance in KPI meetings.
- Escalate issues promptly to key personnel (e.g., production schedulers).
- Plan daily boards and staff rotas.
- Address staffing issues fairly, consistently, and effectively.
Requirements: What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong literacy and numeracy.
- Self-motivated, with a positive working attitude.
- Reliable and capable of forming strong working relationships.
- Practical problem-solving approach.
- A team player who can work with minimal supervision and is approachable.
