Production Scheduler Wanted - Broughton, Chester
12 month contract.Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our client's dynamic team. This company is a leading manufacturer known for its innovative products and commitment to excellence. As the successful Production Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of all aircraft part commodities.Key Responsibilities of the Production Scheduler:- Support operations for the delivery of all aircraft part commodities to achieve build and meet cost and delivery targets- Work as part of a multifunctional team on projects aimed at improving business performance and address any day-to-day issues- Provide support to the Operational Business Areas to enable the financial man hours per set to be achieved- Anticipate and respond to rate changes, and manage risks and opportunities- Support and enable Operational & Functional deliverable, acting with agility to any changes in production- Ensure the Airbus Operating System (AOS) is deployed and in all relevant areas- Build a strong interface with Airbus Procurement to mitigate supplier performance risks- Ensure a strong interface with the Airbus Logistics Service Provider to adhere to logistical processesQualifications and Skills Required:- Advanced Google Sheets skills, including macros and data manipulation- Excellent organisational skills and a results-driven, logical approach to achieving tasks and objectives- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective solutions- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team- Preference for candidates with SAP Planning & Logistics knowledge and experienceThis is a 12-month contract role, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be required to work 35 hours per week, hourly rates via Umbrella or PAYE available.
