We are a leading UK manufacturer of pastry and dough products based in a brand-new state-of-the-art food manufacturing plant based in Corby. We proudly supply a wide range of pastry, pizza dough, and ready-to-bake cookies to all retailers in the UK.

We are looking for a Shift Manager who can empower, lead, and positively motivate our night shift operatives to ensure that our food production lines continue to run smoothly between the hours of 6am and 6pm on a Panama shift pattern.

- Managing the team effectively to ensure productivity
- Ensure targets for various factors are reached (production, quality, waste, etc.)
- Ensure continuous running of machines to plan, specification, and technical levels
- Identify training and development needs of operators and assist in scheduling
- Co-ordinate with the hygiene team to maintain the high standard of housekeeping, cleaning schedules, and ensure audits are carried out as per company standards
- Assist in trials, equipment installations, and any machine projects
- Ensure BRC standard are maintained
- Carry out appraisals, 1-2-1’s, and performance review to ensure team success
Personal Characteristics:
- Experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing/bakery environment
- Understanding of Health & Safety, Quality, and Hygiene requirements/systems
- Proven record of team development and motivation
- Inquisitive approach, close attention to detail, and effective problem-solving
- Good communication, written and verbal
- Resourceful, reliable, and resilient
