Step into a fast-paced leadership role at Refresco

Where you’ll drive operational performance, lead and develop high-performing teams, and keep production running smoothly across a major FMCG site. You’ll take ownership of daily delivery, resource optimisation, and audit-ready standards while using data and KPIs to boost OEE and reduce waste. Key Responsibilities Of The Production Shift Manager

  • Drive operational performance by leading daily reviews, ensuring adherence to production plans, and collaborating with scheduling and engineering to meet site targets
  • Manage budgets and resources through effective control of labour, overtime, and capex while ensuring the site has the right people and materials to deliver the plan
  • Lead and develop teams by managing Supervisors, building succession plans, completing appraisals, and ensuring all mandatory and role-specific training is up to date
  • Maintain audit-ready standards by ensuring GMP, Health & Safety, equipment care, and Right First Time quality expectations are consistently met
  • Use data to improve performance by collecting, analysing, and presenting KPIs such as OEE, scrap, and plan vs actual, and delivering projects that drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment by working with FLMs, Shift Management, and central planning to deliver consistent standards, meet KPIs, and support weekly planning and downtime processes

About You

We’re looking for someone with solid FMCG manufacturing experience and a deep understanding of production processes, backed by proven success in leading a small team in a supervisory capacity. You’ll bring a strong track record of hitting targets and driving performance improvements, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary management team. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build strong relationships at every level. You’ll also need confident IT capability, good knowledge of food industry quality standards, and an awareness of current trends and developments shaping modern manufacturing.
