Production Supervisor
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: up to £45,000
Are you an experienced Production Supervisor who knows how to drive pace, standards, and performance in a busy food manufacturing environment?
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a large, established food business with ambitious growth plans and a high-performing butchery operation at the heart of its customer offering. You’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day production environment, ensuring the team delivers against quality, availability, service levels, budget, and operational KPIs.
The role will involve managing a team of around 19 people, supporting production, dispatch, goods in and goods out, and ensuring the smooth running of an operation producing around 300 products.

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading, coaching, and developing the Production team
- Driving efficiency, pace, and performance without compromising quality or standards
- Managing production workflow in a pre-produced and just-in-time environment
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene, HACCP, health & safety, and legislative standards are maintained
- Managing budgets, waste, attendance, service levels, and employee engagement
- Supporting audits, inspections, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
- Building a positive, customer-focused, and solutions-led team culture

What we’re looking for:
- You’ll need experience in a production food manufacturing role, ideally with direct responsibility for team performance, workflow, standards, and KPIs.
- You’ll be confident managing people, solving problems, working at pace, and maintaining high standards in a busy operational environment.
Experience with food safety, HACCP, health & safety, butchery production, or foodservice operations would be a real advantage. This would suit someone who enjoys being close to the operation, leading from the front, and making sure both people and processes are performing at their best.
