Lead. Deliver. Make it Happen.

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Production Supervisor to play a key role in the day-to-day operation of a busy urban asphalt production facility. This is a hands-on leadership position where safety, quality, and efficiency come first.

If you thrive in a fast-paced production environment, enjoy leading teams, and have strong technical knowledge of asphalt production, this could be your next step.

Purpose of the Role

Your mission is to ensure the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operation of the asphalt plant. You’ll lead a skilled team with enthusiasm and drive, ensuring materials are produced to the highest quality standards while maximising plant performance.

From daily production planning to plant operation, inspection, and maintenance, you’ll be central to keeping the plant running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise daily asphalt production activities
  • Plan production schedules based on customer demand and plant capability
  • Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and regulations
  • Monitor output, quality, and plant performance to optimise throughput
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise site personnel
  • Manage plant start-up and shut-down procedures
  • Carry out routine inspections and monitoring in line with site procedures
  • Undertake basic maintenance and repairs within scope and competence
  • Maintain accurate records and complete inspection and near-miss reports
  • Operate static and mobile plant safely and efficiently, including FELs and dumpers
  • Ensure refuelling, greasing, and cleaning of equipment is completed correctly
  • Liaise with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth operations
  • Support continuous improvement through CPD, training, and best practice

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
