Production Supervisor on Nights
PrepWorld is seeking a proactive and hands-on Production Supervisor on Nights to support our expanding food manufacturing operations. In this key leadership role, you will develop and guide Area Team Leaders, uphold high operational and safety standards, and ensure all production documentation and processes are completed accurately.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Train, mentor, and support Area Team Leaders to drive strong team performance.
- Act as the first point of contact for your designated production area.
- Lead by example and consistently enforce company policies and procedures.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure safe use of all facilities and equipment, maintaining a safe working environment for all.
- Safeguard product safety, legality, and quality standards, ensuring CCPs are fully adhered to.
- Maintain excellent GMP standards and promote a “clean as you go” culture across production areas.
- Monitor and challenge performance in efficiency, waste, H&S, and overall compliance.

People & Workforce Management
- Manage production staff across the facility during night operations.
- Ensure efficient use of labour to achieve business targets, identifying skills gaps where needed.
- Ensure the Time & Attendance (T&A) system is updated daily with accurate recorded hours.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Attend daily and weekly meetings with the Shift Manager to review performance, identify issues, and propose preventative measures.
- Liaise daily with the Senior Supervisor on production targets and deliver effective end-of-shift handovers.
- Participate in taste panels and encourage your reporting teams to engage.
- Deputise for the Senior Supervisor during absences.

Working Conditions
- Regular manual handling as part of daily duties.
- Frequent work in cold storage environments.
- Must maintain an alert and safety-focused mindset when working near PPTs and moving machinery

Shift Pattern
Sunday to Wednesday
(4 days on, 3 days off)
18:30 - 06:00 (Night shift)
Salary (Paid Weekly)
Depending on experience:
- £15.41 + £0.50 night shift allowance per hour
- £16.23 + £0.50 night shift allowance per hour
- £17.82 + £0.50 night shift allowance per hour
