Production Support Roles
Albert Bartlett, a family-owned British brand since 1948, is the UK’s leading supplier of top-quality potatoes. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and innovation within the industry.
We are now looking for dedicated Production Support staff to join our team, operating on a 4-day work week (hours as follows):
- Friday (8 hrs)
- Saturday (8 hrs)
- Sunday (12 hrs)
- Monday (not compulsory, role specific to remaining days)
About the Role
This exciting position will play a vital role in our production operations, ensuring high standards are met while offering a great work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Work schedule: 39 hours per week:
- Friday & Saturday (8 hours each)
- Saturday & Sunday (12 hours each)
- Assist in the setup and operation of production machinery for smooth shift continuity
- Support production teams by performing various operational tasks as needed to meet output targets
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas to ensure safety and efficiency
- Conduct quality checks on products and escalate any issues to supervisors
- Participate in training and skill development opportunities to enhance contributions
- Foster a friendly and productive work environment through team collaboration

Requirements
✅ No previous experience required (manufacturing or production experience is a bonus) ✅ Strong collaboration and communication skills for seamless teamwork ✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently ✅ Basic maths proficiency for product inspections and reporting ✅ Proactive attitude toward learning and improving job skills ✅ Commitment to the 4-day weekend work schedule (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
