The Role
Seeking a results-driven professional to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced production environment. The role involves ensuring efficient production, maintaining compliance with food manufacturing safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives through people management and performance optimisation.
Working a 3 shift rotation of 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, and 22:00-06:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the production plan through direct reporting teams on shifts.
- Ensure adherence to food manufacturing safety and quality standards.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques within production operations.
- Manage team performance to align with site business plans.
- Optimise labour use to meet production program requirements and customer expectations.
- Oversee equipment efficiency, GMP, waste control, labour costs, and materials management.
- Create an environment where individuals can challenge the status quo, embrace change, and improve performance.
- Develop and utilise KPIs, ensuring they are effectively communicated at all levels.
- Collaborate with different business units to meet customer delivery requirements.

Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
- Experience in a relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong coaching and situational leadership skills.
- Excellent values and behaviours aligned with the company’s vision.
Desirable:
- Qualification in Continuous Improvement.
- Health & Safety qualification (IOSH).
- HACCP Level 2.
- Previous experience with SAP or Infor M3 ERP systems.
Professional Skills:
- Proven experience in a production engineering environment, preferably within FMCG.
- Experience managing automated process lines.
- Demonstrated ability to coach teams and lead change initiatives.
- Data-driven mindset, using data to improve quality and OEE.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
