Production Technician - Cambridge
We are looking for a hands on Production Technician to join a busy and highly skilled production team working on advanced electro mechanical systems. This is a varied role where no two days look the same, covering everything from cable assembly through to full system build and test.
You will be part of a collaborative team environment, working alongside experienced technicians and a supportive team leader. The role will involve assembling and testing mechanical, optical and electronic components, carrying out fault finding at component level, and ensuring all work is accurately recorded and documented.

What you will be doing - Production Technician - Cambridge
- Assembly and test of electro mechanical products
- Cable and harness build
- Full system build and configuration
- Fault finding, troubleshooting and debugging to component level
- Recording and documenting work accurately
What we are looking for - Production Technician - Cambridge
- Formal engineering or relevant qualification
- Strong understanding of electronic fundamentals
- Experience with SMT soldering to 0201 and PCB repair
- Wiring and cable assembly experience
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Confident using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVMs and signal generators

Desirable - Production Technician - Cambridge
- Working knowledge of PCB design software
- Experience with Solidworks or similar mechanical design tools
- Understanding of analogue and digital video processing
- Awareness of clean room techniques for opto mechanical assembly
