Production Technician
Portbury, Bristol, BS20
Our site operational hours are between 6am and 6pm. No night shifts
Full training provided.
What’s the purpose of this role?
You’ll be part of the site operations teams, carrying out and supporting production duties. Duties include operating custom-built gas cleaning and distillation systems, gas filling systems and cylinder handling systems. In addition you may support the smooth running of the waste, speciality and refrigerant gas operations.
Who does this role report to?
Production Manager
What will my key responsibilities be?
- Preparing, decanting, filling, picking and dispatching of cylinders, as well as working in the waste recovery process.
- Follow all operational processes and carry out quality control checks.
- Safely operate lifting gear or forklifts to move stock, as required.
- Monitor production equipment and perform routine maintenance.
- Maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment at workstations and in storage areas so as to reduce incidents/accidents and present a professional image to customers and visitors.

You’ll be joining our flagship site in Portbury which is located just off Junction 19 of the M5. We’re leading the way when it comes to setting the standards for safe and efficient warehouse and production operations across our European sites. You’ll be a part of our most experienced production technician team.

Essential
- GCSE level education including Maths and English
- Good spoken level English

Desirable
- Forklift license
- Experience in an industrial environment
- Understanding of basic warehouse practice
