Production Technician
The Production Technician supports the smooth and efficient flow of production activities by ensuring picked items are moved correctly between workstations and updating item statuses within the ERP system. This role plays a vital part in maintaining production accuracy, workflow continuity, and timely order completion.
What You’ll Be Doing
Material Handling & Workflow Support
- Move picked items to the appropriate production areas in line with daily schedules and priorities.
- Ensure materials are staged, organised, and ready for use to avoid production delays.
ERP System Updates
- Accurately update the status of works orders, components, and assemblies within the ERP system.
- Log movements, stock adjustments, and production progress in real time.
- Flag discrepancies or missing items to the Workshop Manager or relevant teams.
Production Support
- Assist with the general flow of work through the workshop to maintain efficiency.
- Collaborate with Production, Stores, and Quality teams to support operational needs.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure traceability and data accuracy through diligent ERP updates.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organised working environment.

Who We Are Looking For
Essential
- Experience in a production, workshop, or manufacturing environment
- Basic proficiency with ERP/stock management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptable to changing production priorities
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
- Commitment to accuracy and quality
Desirable
- Experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics D365
- Forklift or material-handling experience
- Basic understanding of manufacturing workflows
