Production Technician

Production Technician - Kedrion Biopharma

Kedrion Biopharma is seeking Production Technicians to join our Production department, where you will play a crucial role in the production of plasma-derived products.

We are looking for people who can follow processes accurately ensuring that our products are manufactured to the right standards. You will have good attention to detail, be numerate and literate, used to work as part of a team and following health and safety requirements.

With over a century of experience, the company’s legacy spans multiple centres of excellence in Plasma Derived Medicinal Products (PDMPs) across the world. Your work will contribute to Kedrion’s goal of creating a world where scientific advancement and human compassion go together to serve patients worldwide.

Our site is not easily accessible by public transport so please take this into consideration when applying as this role is fully on-site.

Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Technician in a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, you will carry out activities connected with the preparation of therapeutic products, working in clean rooms including operating large-scale process equipment and performing in-process checks for formulation. You will also be involved in various cleaning activities of the process areas and equipment. There is an element of heavy lifting involved in most sections within Production. In addition, you will play a vital role in improvement initiatives.

We have various sections within Production on a 24/7 shift pattern, which involves 12-hour shifts rotating days/nights, 4 on 4 off. (4 days on, 4 rest days, 4 nights on, 4 rest days).

Skills & Experience To Help You Within The Role:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Numerate and literate
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Follow health and safety requirements
  • GMP experience or a good understanding is essential
  • Experience of working to SOP’s is an advantage
  • For some departments, previous manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical or food/drink industries is preferred; for others, no previous manufacturing experience is required as skills and attitude are more important considerations.
