Production Warehouse Good-In/Out Operative
- Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST1
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Department: Quality
- Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 per annum
About the Role
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are seeking a detail-oriented candidate with experience in production, warehouse, or goods in/out to join their Quality team in Stoke-on-Trent.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about maintaining high standards and ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing process. You will assist with inspection and quality control activities, helping to improve Right-First-Time performance and drive continuous improvement.
You will collaborate closely with Production, Stores, and the Quality team to ensure compliance, validate product standards, and resolve quality-related issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection Activities
- Conduct thorough Goods-In inspections on incoming parts and materials.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections using standard measuring equipment.
- Carry out final product inspections before dispatch.
- Accurately complete inspection records in a timely manner.
- Escalate any quality concerns instantly.

Non-Conformance Support
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as needed.
- Support identification and segregation of non-conforming products.
- Assist in investigating and resolving quality issues.
- Maintain accurate quality records and registers.
Quality Documentation & Records
- Complete quality check sheets and inspection documentation.
- Maintain QA registers, inspection logs, and work instructions.
- Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and up to date.
Operational Support
- Provide quality-related support to Production and Stores teams.
- Help identify recurring quality issues and contribute to improvements.
- Promote high standards of housekeeping and quality across operational areas.
About You
Core Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Highly detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality.
- Comfortable using measuring equipment and inspection tools.
- Organised, methodical, and capable of following processes.
- Confident communicator, able to work effectively with teams.
- IT literate with basic administrative skills.
- Eager to learn and develop in a quality-focused role.

Desirable Experiences
- Previous experience in a QA/QC inspection role.
- Exposure to ISO 9001 environments.
- Experience completing inspection documentation and NCRs.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings or manufacturing processes.
