The Opportunity
Our client is a leading insurance and risk management adviser to the professional services sector, with an enviable reputation built on specialist knowledge and exceptional client care.
Their Professional Indemnity portfolio spans a diverse range of clients, from ambitious technology, AI and FinTech businesses through to established national accountancy practices, solicitors, architects, surveyors and recruitment consultancies.
An experienced and highly regarded colleague is transitioning after many years building this practice, and the business is now seeking the right individual to take stewardship of that client base. This is an opportunity to inherit trusted relationships, continue their development and ultimately make the specialism your own.
What You'll Be Doing
- Taking ownership of an established Professional Indemnity portfolio with strong, loyal client relationships.
- Acting as a trusted adviser to clients across the professional services sector, ranging from SMEs through to large national firms.
- Managing the full client lifecycle, including new business, policy management, mid-term adjustments and renewals.
- Working alongside a highly experienced broking team with significant technical expertise and market knowledge.
- Growing the portfolio through referrals, networking, relationship development and your own profile within the professional services community.
- Establishing yourself as a recognised Professional Indemnity specialist, both locally and nationally.

What We're Looking For
- Experience within Professional Indemnity insurance.
- A genuine interest in the professional services sector.
- Strong client relationship and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify and develop opportunities.
- Ambition to take ownership of a portfolio and continue its growth.
- Progression towards ACII would be welcomed but is not essential. Further professional study is actively supported.
