A rare opportunity to inherit an established, high-quality book of Professional Indemnity business built over many years within a highly respected Bristol broker with national reach.

This is not a cold-start sales role. You'll step into longstanding client relationships, a trusted team, and a genuine succession opportunity from day one.

The Opportunity

Our client is a leading insurance and risk management adviser to the professional services sector, with an enviable reputation built on specialist knowledge and exceptional client care.

Their Professional Indemnity portfolio spans a diverse range of clients, from ambitious technology, AI and FinTech businesses through to established national accountancy practices, solicitors, architects, surveyors and recruitment consultancies.

An experienced and highly regarded colleague is transitioning after many years building this practice, and the business is now seeking the right individual to take stewardship of that client base. This is an opportunity to inherit trusted relationships, continue their development and ultimately make the specialism your own.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Taking ownership of an established Professional Indemnity portfolio with strong, loyal client relationships.
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to clients across the professional services sector, ranging from SMEs through to large national firms.
  • Managing the full client lifecycle, including new business, policy management, mid-term adjustments and renewals.
  • Working alongside a highly experienced broking team with significant technical expertise and market knowledge.
  • Growing the portfolio through referrals, networking, relationship development and your own profile within the professional services community.
  • Establishing yourself as a recognised Professional Indemnity specialist, both locally and nationally.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
