About The Role
As a Professional Indemnity (PI) Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims on behalf of your allocation of clients. This role is essential in ensuring all claims progress efficiently and are resolved to the best possible conclusion.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring prompt intimation of claims to relevant insurer(s), establishing applicable coverage, and assisting clients with any required disclosure or data gathering
- Coordinating claims from First Notice of Loss (FNOL) to settlement, advocates on behalf of clients to ensure their interests are protected throughout the process
- Providing expert guidance, technical analysis, and support to clients to ensure smooth claims progression
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key client contacts
- Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, and other stakeholders, including internal servicing contacts
- Accurate management of electronic claim files, processing all correspondence and diaries within stated Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Where required, attending claims review meetings and producing up-to-date reports containing current claims experience

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- Experience of handling UK Commercial Insurance Claims, ideally with knowledge of Professional Indemnity and/or Liability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a structured approach
- Strong organisational skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and advocacy abilities
