Professional Lead Opportunity in Leamington South and Southam District Nursing Team
SWUFT Out of Hospital Division has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Professional Lead to join the Leamington South and Southam District Nursing Team. This role is based across Royal Leamington Spa Hospital and Southam Clinic.
This is a rewarding and dynamic role, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their clinical expertise, leadership capability, and managerial skills within a continuously evolving health and social care environment.
You will play a key role in leading and supporting a dedicated and compassionate team of community nurses, working closely alongside the Clinical Lead for the locality. As part of a wider network, you will join a talented and passionate group of Professional Leads across South Place.
The Role Provides The Opportunity To
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues across the locality, including Allied Health Professionals
- Work in partnership with Community and Urgent Response Teams
- Engage with a range of specialist services
- Contribute to service development and high-quality patient care delivery across community settings
- Support the development of Integrated Neighbourhood Health teams in the locality

The main purpose of the role is to work with Integrated Teams within a defined locality, focusing on developing services and multi-disciplinary teams. This will be through operational management within a clinical governance framework, in line with the overall strategy for South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. The role will involve deputising for the Locality Manager to ensure continuity in the operational management of teams.
