Professional Services Manager
Senior Highways & Maintenance Project Manager (Suffolk Region)

Responsibilities
As UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to deliver effective high-quality solutions. Your role includes:
- Supporting and reporting to the Suffolk Highways Business Director
- Holding overall responsibility for professional services provided by Suffolk Highways
- Collaborating with clients, construction, commercial, and programme management teams to deliver coherent solutions
- Reviewing and agreeing technical briefs for work
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental legislation, internal quality standards, and processes
- Acting as the senior focal point for internal customer liaison and communication
- Managing P&L responsibility and ensuring the effectiveness of resource utilisation, including coordinating the technical resources and supply chain

Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Experience leading and managing a large multi-disciplinary team in a senior management position
- Extensive project management experience and skills
- Deep design and construction experience in the highway and maintenance sector
- Financial management experience, including management of commercial issues, risk, and opportunity
- Resource planning and programme management experience, including proficiency with ASTA Enterprise or similar software
- Experience managing CDM (Construction (Design and Management) Regulations) in design and construction
- Proficiency in computer applications, including CAD, Microsoft Excel, and Word
- Experience with the NEC suite of contract documents (Next Generation Contracts) and contract administration
- Valid UK/EEC driving licence
