Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate solicitor to join a thriving team as a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL). Working closely with partners and lawyers across the Corporate department, you will play a key role in maintaining technical excellence, supporting knowledge management initiatives and promoting best practice across the team. The position will involve:
- Drafting and maintaining precedents, templates and guidance materials
- Providing technical support on complex corporate matters
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments
- Ensuring lawyers remain up to date with market and legislative changes
- Delivering training programmes
- Supporting the development of junior lawyers
- Contributing to thought leadership
- Assisting with business development and client-facing initiatives

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified solicitor with strong experience in Corporate law, ideally gained within a leading regional, national or City firm. Applications are welcomed from existing Professional Support Lawyers as well as experienced Corporate fee earners looking to transition into a knowledge-focused position. You should possess:
- Excellent technical knowledge across corporate transactions
- Strong drafting and research skills
- The ability to communicate complex legal issues in a practical and accessible manner
The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware, proactive and passionate about supporting the professional development of others.
