Company Description
Norwich Writers' Circle is a welcoming writing group based in Norwich, open to writers of all genres and skill levels. The group offers a varied programme that includes practical workshops, and guest speakers. Members benefit from a supportive environment that encourages skill development, creative exploration, competitions and peer feedback. NWC aims to nurture a diverse community of writers and provide regular opportunities for learning, networking, and showcasing work.
Role Description
We are looking for an experienced project / events co-ordinator to create an exciting program of talks and workshops for our members writing group. We are based in Norwich and meet twice a month. They would be part of the Events and Program team, working alongside the Online Program Co-ordinator and committee.

We are looking for an In Person Co-Ordinator who would need to be located locally to Norwich as they would have to attend the Norwich monthly meetings.

An interest within the Writing community and experience working with a committee would be essential.
Qualifications
- Program Management and Program Development skills to design, coordinate, and provide a varied schedule of writing activities.
- Project Management abilities to plan timelines, manage resources, and ensure successful delivery of events and initiatives.
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with members, speakers, partners, and volunteers.
- Customer Service skills to provide a welcoming, responsive experience for writers of all backgrounds and experience levels.
- Organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Comfort working on-site, including monthly evening and occasional weekend events as required by the programme schedule.
- Experience in arts, education, community organizations, or event coordination is beneficial.
- Proficiency with basic office software and digital tools for scheduling, communication, and record-keeping.
